More than 40 years after the 1st IRT conference which was held in Montpellier in 1972, we are delighted to be hosting the next IRT for the first time in the beautiful city of Poznań. The previous 20 IRTs in this series have proven to be popular with academia and industry alike, and have attracted over 400 participants in recent years. This independent Roundtable is organized under the auspices of the International Society of Nucleosides Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids (IS3NA).

The IRT outstanding and diverse scientific program of plenary sessions can be already viewed. Plenary lectures will be delivered by internationally-recognized scientists, including the Montgomery and Imbach-Townsend Awardees. We will have a dynamic and engaging program with cutting edge research in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology, as well as synthetic and therapeutic applications of nucleosides and oligonucleotides.

The conference commences with an evening reception on August 24th on the Poznań Technical University Campus. As in past IRTs, poster presentations will be a cornerstone of the scientific program: posters will be displayed all week and featured in two early evening sessions with refreshments.

The conference will take place in the Centre of Poznań Technical University that can accommodate in excess of 500 delegates in a state-of-the-art technical facility. This includes symposia theatre, an ultra-modern amphitheatre, pre-function areas with floor-to-ceiling windows, and numerous meeting rooms.
